    Former President A P J Abdul Kalam Passes away. A big salute to the Missile Man







    News : Bharat Ratna APJ Abdul Kalam Passed Away : Former Indian President Bharat Ratna APJ Abdul Kalam (Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam) Passed Away today. He was reportedly collapsed on stage while giving a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management in Shillong and immediately rushed to hospital.Doctors say he suffered from a cardiac arrest.


    Dr Kalam was born in Rameswaram on October 15, 1931, to a boatman. He played a pivotal role in India's Pokhran-II nuclear test in 1998, the first since the test by India in 1974. He was known as Missile Man India for ensuring the success of Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme (IGMDP). For his achievements, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan and Bharat Ratna, and then he became the 11th President of India in 2002. He was THE BEST and the ONLY president of India who inspired youth. His life itself is a motivational lesson for the modern youth.

    Former President A P J Abdul Kalam Passes away

    Former President A P J Abdul Kalam, a popular head of state between 2002 and 2007, died today after he collapsed during a lecture in Shillong.

    84-year-old Kalam was rushed to Bethany hospital in Nongrim hills after he collapsed during the lecture in the Indian Institute of Management at around 6.30 PM.

    Chief Secretary P B O Warjiri told reporters outside the hospital that he had spoken to Union Home Secretary L C Goyal asking for necessary arrangements to be made for carrying Kalam’s body from Guwahati to Delhi tomorrow morning.

    “The former President has been admitted to Bethany hospital in a critical condition,” M Kharkrang, SP Khasi Hills said earlier. The former President collapsed during a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management at around 6.30 PM and was rushed to the hospital in Nongrim hills in the capital city of Meghalaya, where he is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). 

    Doctors from the army hospital and North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) rushed to Bethany hospital. Governor V Shanmughanathan, Speaker Abu Taher Mondal, Home Minister Roshan Warjiri, the Chief Secretary and DGP Rajiv Mehta rushed to the hospital.

    MAJOR MISTAKES OBSERVED AT DELIVERY POST OFFICES IN HANDLING PARCEL COD ARTICLES.



    COD Articles Are Taken Receipt As Registered Parcel/VP Parcel At The Time Of Bag Opening:
    1. Check all the Parcels physically and take receipt of all COD parcels as COD only in Bag Opening option of Postman module. 
    2. Even though RMS (Parcel Hub) invoices the article as RP/VPP in the Parcel list, the delivery Post Office is supposed to take receipt of the article as COD only and raise error entry
    3. If the article is taken receipt as Registered Parcel/VP Parcel by mistake, don’t invoice the article as Registered Parcel/VP Parcel. There is an option to the Supervisor of the Postman module to change the Non COD article into a COD Parcel. Use this option, before invoicing the article to Postman/BO and change the article type to COD Parcel.

    Not Requesting For Electronic Data If The Article Is Physically Received At An Office Other Than The Pin Code To Which It Is Booked

    1. By default, electronic data will be transmitted to the office to which the article is booked.
    2. If the article is received at an office other than the office to which it is booked, that office has to give request for electronic data.
    3. Electronic data will be sent within 3 hours
    4. If electronic data is not received within 3 hours, check the tracking of the article.
    5. If the article is already marked as RTS by some other office, the article has to be returned to sender by manual process
    Non Usage Of Sub Accounts Module:

    1. Sub Accounts module should be in operation in all the HOs/SOs.
    2. The data of the articles delivered at Branch Post Offices will be transmitted to e Payment Server only if the amount of BO delivered articles and the amount entered under proper head in BO Daily account (sub accounts module) is tallied.
    3. Therefore, the BO Daily account has to be entered in Sub Accounts module properly.
    Non Performing BO Verification:
    1. BO Verification is compulsory in order to transmit the data of COD Parcels delivered at Branch Post offices.
    2. For this purpose, the returns in Postman module has to be taken on the same day of BO Daily Account.
    Mismatch Between The Names In Sub Accounts Module And Postman Module
    1. There should not be any mismatch between the BO names appearing in Postman module and Sub Accounts module. If any mismatch is there, then the articles delivered by such B.O.s will not be transmitted to ePayment Server. 
    2. Therefore, modify such BO names in Sub Accounts module to exactly match with that available in Postman module.

If your office is not appearing in the list of registered offices, please do the web registration in eMO web page using hardware change. Then do the client registration. For the client registration please use eMO reset registration exl. Then try register again. Once your office is shown in the list of registered offices then only the status of that office is registered.  

    After completing registration process, wait for 24 hours. Your office eMOs will be automatically processed and information is updated on eMO booked MIS  https://services.cept.gov.in/eMO/  

    2.       a)       Parts of the computer in which eMO Client is running are not changed

    b)       Computer running eMO client is not changed  

    Please do the web registration in eMO web page using hardware change. Then do the client
    registration. For the client registration please use eMO reset registration exl. Then try register again. Once your office is shown in the list of registered offices then only the status of that office is registered. After completing registration process, wait for 24 hours.     eMOs booked before 31 days or more will not be transmitted electronically. Please check with the respective payment office and confirm the non-receipt / non-payment. Then issue duplicate eMOs after observing prescribed formalities.

    Operator should login and enter the redirection particulars in eMO Module and then it should be authorized in eMO module by supervisor.  

    4.      No eMO pending for Redirected eMO’s authorization in eMO Supervisor eMO should be authorized in eMO module by supervisor.  

    5.      eMO/eMO Client are of latest version (Megdhoot Update 7.9.2)  eMO version can be seen on About Menu.

    Please use the eMO enquiry option and check the disposal particulars of that eMO and dispose accordingly to returns entered already. 

    After completing the process, wait for 24 hours. Your office eMOs will be automatically processed and information is updated on eMO MIS https://services.cept.gov.in/eMO/   

    Check the eMO MIS after a day.  

    3.      Sender pin code is valid pin code  

    Sometimes remitter may furnish incorrect or non-existing pincode in his address. Or sometimes the office which booked the eMO might have been closed. This can be checked at https://services.cept.gov.in/eMO/ in “View Pincode” menu option.  

    Request the booking office divisional administrator to change the sender pincode using change remitter pincode in https://services.cept.gov.in/eMO/ .  

    Raise a ticket under Category Miscellaneous issues.  

    4.      eMO/eMO Client are of latest version (Meghdoot Update 7.9.2) 

    eMO version can be seen on About Menu. 

    eMO client version is displayed on top of the screen.

    Run eMO client.

    Check the eMO MIS after a day.  

    The eMO data will be received under disaster recovery option for eMO which was booked 31 days or later.  

    2.      No eMOs are pending for authorization in disaster recovery  

    Please check the report of eMOs pending for disaster verification and then it should be verified by the Supervisor for that particular date(s). 

    Run eMO client.  

    After completing the process, wait for 24 hours. Your office eMOs will be automatically processed and information is updated on eMO MIS https://services.cept.gov.in/eMO/  

    Check the eMO MIS after a day.

    Divisional Administrator should submit request to resend data through https://services.cept.gov.in/eMO/

    Check the eMO MIS after a day.  

    3.      No Zip files pending in RXD folder outside the RXD1 folder without processing

     Ensure that Operating System (windows) user has administrator privileges/  

    eMO Client exe is being run as administrator/  

    Minimum 100 MB free space is there on hard disk drive (C:\ or D:\ etc.) on which eMO client is installed.  

    If problem still persist then do the following.  

    Stop eMO client if running.  

    Move all the files from rxd1 folder of eMO client to another folder in your hard disk. Run eMO client and then check.  

    After completing the process, wait for 24 hours. Your office eMOs will be automatically processed and information is updated on eMO MIS https://services.cept.gov.in/eMO/  

    Check the eMO MIS after a day

    If still problem not solved try the below steps. 

    Please do the following carefully. 

    1.  Stop the eMO client application if running.

    2.  Open the RXD folder in eMO client installation path.

    3.  Select details option in View menu on the top of explorer. (View->details). All files will be shown with file type and date modified.

    4.  Sort the files by modified date (Click on date modified column once or twice).

    5.  Select and cut the oldest zip file(single file) and copy into separate folder on

    desktop.( this file might be corrupted).

    6.  Start the eMO client application.

    7.  Check the eMO after 10-15 minutes. 

    After completing the process, wait for 24 hours. Your office eMOs will be automatically processed and information is updated on eMO MIS https://services.cept.gov.in/eMO/  

    Check the eMO MIS after a day  

    4.      No files pending unprocessed inside data folder (inside RXD)  

    Please do the following carefully.  

    1.  Stop the eMO client application if running.

    2.  Open the data folder Inside RXD Folder of eMO client installation path.

    3. Select details option in View menu on the top of explorer.(View->details). All files will be shown with file type and date modified.

    4. Sort the files by modified date (Click on date modified column once or twice).

    5. Select and cut all the files received on oldest date and time and copy into to separate folder on desktop.( these file might be corrupted).

    6. Delete all the files with file type qsq_tmp in data folder of rxd.

    7. Start the eMO client application.

    8. Check the eMO after 10-15 minutes.  

    After completing the process, wait for 24 hours. Your office eMOs will be automatically processed and information is updated on eMO MIS https://services.cept.gov.in/eMO/

     Check the eMO MIS after a day  

    5.      eMO/eMO Client are of latest version (Meghdoot Update 7.9.2)  

    eMO version can be seen on About Menu.  

    eMO client version is displayed on top of the screen.  

    If either eMO or eMO client version is not 7.9.2, then update to the latest version available and do day begin in eMO Module and run the eMOClient.     The Steps To Do So Are

    1. Click Start then Run and type "gpedit.msc" without quotes.

    Policy>Computer Configuration>Administrative Templetes>Network>QoS Packet Scheduler. Click on QoS Packet Scheduler. In the right side , find Limit Reservable Bandwidth and double click on Limit Reservable Bandwidth.

    3. It will say it is not configured but the truth is under the ‘Explain’ tab. Select ‘Enable’ and set reservable bandwidth to zero.

    4. Click on ‘Apply’ and your internet speed will boost up by 20%

    STANDING INSTRUCTION IN DOP FINACLE



    Standing instruction in DOP Finacle can be given from SB account to RD account by using the menu 
                                                        HSSIM
    • HSSIM stands for Standing Instruction Maintenance.
    Note that for giving the standing instructions from TDA accounts(SCSS,MIS and TD) accounts to SB accounts we should not use this menu.
    1. For giving the standing instructions for TDA accounts(SCSS,MIS and TD) accounts we have to go for account modification menu and enter the interest credit account as SB account number of the customer and submit and verify in the supervisor.
    2. For giving the standing instruction from SB to RD invoke the menu HSSIM and select the function as "ADD" then click on Go as shown
    Then the system will ask to enter the following in the header details
    1. Select the Standing Instruction Type as "customer induced"
    2. Enter the CIF Id of the customer in the field CIF ID.
    3. Select the Standing Instruction Frequency as Monthly,date and Previous day as shown
    4. Select the field execution time as "B-after change of Date"
    5. Enter the filed Next execution date as "give the next execution date" as shown in the figure

    Then click on instruction details then the system will ask to enter the following
    DEBIT ENTRY
    1. Select the CCY filed as "INR"(Indian Rupee)
    2. Enter the account id of the customer "SB account number of the customer"
    3. Select the amt type field as "Fixed"
    4. Select Debit/Credit field as "Debit"
    5. Enter the amount field "as amount of RD amount" as shown

    Then click on Add as shown then the system will ask to enter the following
    CREDIT ENTRY
    1. Select the CCY filed as "INR"(Indian Rupee)
    2. Enter the account id of the customer "RD account number of the customer"
    3. Select the amt type field as "Fixed"
    4. Select Debit/Credit field as "Credit"
    5. Enter the amount field "as amount of RD amount" as shown

    Then finally click on submit then the system will generate the standing instruction number as shown
    Then note down the instruction number and verify the same in the supervisor.
